Can I terminate the service if I don't like it?     What are the main functions of SmartKnitter®? SmartKnitter® is developed specifically for the knitwear industry. Using state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence and User-Adaptive Technology, this intelligent tool has learning capability and can adapt to the work habit of individual knitting technicians. Users simply input certain pertinent information such as size specifications, knitting method and density of the fabric, the program will automatically complete the grading process and generate a clear, precise and detailed knitting instruction in a fraction of the time. Creates sample order sheet & schedule tracking. Strengthens coordination between departments Work process analysis and automatic calculation of working hours. Users may also export knitting instruction in ".akp" format, and send the file via email for internal circulation and/or comments by outsourced factories. Recipients of the files may use our proprietary SmartReader® free of charge to read and print the knitting instruction. The SmartKnitter® software can be downloaded from our website www.aspcreation.com Affordability Can I subscribe to SmartKnitter® if I don't have an Internet account? SmartKnitter® is offered on a subscription basis, so you will need an Internet account to subscribe to its services. What hardware/software do I need to use SmartKnitter®? All you need is a PC installed with the following minimum requirements: Pentium ; 512 MB of RAM; 10G available hard disk space; 16-bit colour display set to 1024x768 resolution; CD-ROM drive; Internet Connection. Users are recommended to use Windows 2000 / XP. Do I have to log on to the Internet every time I use the software? You may use SmartKnitter® offline. Simply download an offline license from the software and you will not have to log on to the Internet the next time you access SmartKnitter®. The offline license is valid for a period of 1-7 days and when it has expired, just proceed to download a new offline license again. Can ASPC see my data? No, ASPC only offers the software via the internet for use by registered subscribers. All your company's data will be stored in the hard disk of your PC. Are there online help services? Yes. Each copy of the SmartKnitter® software comes with a detailed and comprehensive Help Menu that guides the users step by step in performing the various functionalities of the software. Should you be unable to locate the answers to your questions, you can contact our Customer Service department and we will reply to you as soon as possible. Is there a user manual? Yes. As soon as the installation of SmartKnitter® is completed, a user manual will be placed on the desktop of the computer for your immediate reference. You can also print out the manual for reading at any time. Are there software training courses provided? Yes. You may download the software from our website www.aspcreation.com. For downloads, it is advisable that you have broadband Internet service. How do I install the software? Installing the SmartKnitter® software is simple. After you have downloaded the software online, simply follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. How do I register? Once the software has completed the installation process, a SmartKnitter® icon will appear on your desktop. Click on the icon and a simple registration page will appear for you to register your company with SmartKnitter®. Complete the information requested and click the 'Register' button and SmartKnitter® will automatically and promptly email to you a set of Username and Password. Please make sure that your Internet connection is on before and during the registration process. Please also make sure that your email address is correct as the Username and Password will be sent directly to the email address you provided.If you prefer to register offline, you may download the registration form from ASP Creation's website. Simply fill out the requested information and send it back to us with your payment. When and how do I pay? All subscription fees are payable in advance. We will send you an e-bill to advise you on your subscription status and fee payable. You may settle the subscription fee by cheque (made payable to ASP Creation Limited); credit card or instruct your bank to pay us the applicable subscription fee at the beginning of each billing period. The Auto pay forms are available for download at ASP Creation's website. Wouldn't this cost more in the long run than if I buy a software package? Not really. Our service allows you to download future upgrades of our software at no additional costs. No upfront investment, no expensive service contracts.
